Claude connector

The Claude connector that tells you where to bid on Google Ads.

Ask Claude which keywords deserve your Google Ads budget. It finds ideas, launches analyses once you approve, and brings back Bid, Test or Skip verdicts, without leaving the conversation.

What you can ask

Your Google Ads questions, in plain words.

Claude relies on the same analyses as the app: the same live Google results, the same scores, the same credit rules.

  • "How many credits do I have left?"

Your balance, your plan and today's launch cap.

  • "Suggest keywords for my SMB Invoicing product"

Ideas grouped into branded, non-branded, generic and question; the ones already analyzed come separately, with their score. Free: no credits.

  • "Analyze the ten best ideas"

Claude first states the exact number of credits to reserve, then waits for your approval before launching.

  • "How is my analysis going?"

Live progress: keywords done, in progress, credits charged.

  • "Which ones should I bid on?"

Bid, Test or Skip verdicts, sorted by score, with their reasoning.

  • "Why should I avoid 'free quote software'?"

The detail of a keyword: search intent, sub-scores, advertisers seen on the Google results page.

Getting started

Connected in two minutes.

No key to copy: you sign in to your Should I Bid account from Claude, like with any other app.

  1. Add — Add the connector

In Claude: Customize › Connectors › Add custom connector, then paste the connector URL below.

  2. Authorize — Connect your account

Click "Connect": the Should I Bid page opens, you check the requested permissions, then click "Authorize".

  3. Ask — Ask your question

In a conversation, ask for instance: "Suggest keywords for my flagship product". Claude handles the rest.

Connector URL : https://shouldibid.app/mcp

With Claude Code

claude mcp add --scope user --transport http shouldibid https://shouldibid.app/mcp

Run this command in a terminal, then type /mcp in Claude Code, pick shouldibid and "Authenticate".

Custom connectors are available on every Claude plan (only one on the free plan). On Claude Team or Enterprise, an organization owner adds it.

Your guardrails

Claude works for you, never without you.

The app's rules apply to the letter, and you stay in control of every credit.

No spending without your approval

Before each analysis, Claude shows the number of credits to reserve and waits for your explicit approval.

A daily cap

At most 200 credits per 24 hours for launches from Claude, adjustable in Integrations (0 = no launches). Up to 5 analyses at the same time, 200 keywords at most each.

The same credit rules

1 credit = 1 keyword analyzed, charged after the analysis. For Vision ideas, only recommended keywords (score of 50 or more) are charged. Suggestions are free.

Only Claude can connect

Only Claude's official apps are accepted. An email warns you of each new connection, and you cut access in one click in Integrations › Connected apps.

Your password stays with you

Claude never sees your password. Its access can't pay or delete your account. It only edits your company and product profiles if you tick that permission when connecting it, and it asks you to confirm before deleting anything.

Clean answers

Claude gets our verdicts and summaries, never the raw text of the analyzed web pages. Ad texts are flagged as external data.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Should I Bid subscription?

Yes: the Claude connector is included in every paid Should I Bid plan, like the REST API. Analyses use your credits just like in the app; keyword suggestions use none.

How much does the connector cost?

Nothing extra: it's included. Only analyses use credits, with the same rule as in the app (1 credit = 1 keyword; for Vision, only recommended keywords).

Can Claude spend my credits without asking?

No. Claude must first show you the quote and get your approval. Every launch carries a maximum amount, and the daily cap blocks any overrun.

Which versions of Claude does it work with?

claude.ai on the web, Claude Desktop, the mobile app, Cowork and Claude Code.

How do I disconnect Claude?

In Should I Bid: Integrations › Connected apps › Disconnect. Access stops immediately. You can also remove the connector in Claude's settings.

Can Claude edit my company and product profiles?

Yes, if you allow it: when connecting Claude, tick "Edit your company and product profiles" (unticked by default). Claude can then create your profile, fill in its texts and add or update your products. It asks you to confirm before deleting anything: an agency client can only be deleted if it has no analyses, and a company account's profile is never deleted. The latest changes are listed in Integrations.

What data does Claude see?

Only your credits, your company and product profiles, your analyses and their results. Never your password, your payment methods or the raw text of the analyzed pages.

Is Should I Bid affiliated with Anthropic?

No. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic. Should I Bid is an independent service, compatible with Claude through the MCP protocol.
